Course Overview
Certified Ethical Hacker is EC-Council's flagship offensive security credential and one of the most widely recognised names in the field. It teaches the tools, techniques and methodology used by attackers so that defenders can anticipate and counter them.
The course works through the full attack lifecycle: reconnaissance and footprinting, scanning and enumeration, vulnerability analysis, system hacking, malware, sniffing and social engineering, denial of service, session hijacking, evading defences, web server and application attacks, SQL injection, wireless and mobile attacks, IoT and OT, cloud computing, and cryptography.
CEH is an approved DoD 8140 baseline certification for several CSSP work roles and is frequently specified by name in federal and defence contracts.
