Same Campus. Same Week.

Test the Day You Finish Training

DoD Training Center San Diego is a Pearson VUE Authorized Test Center inside our Clairemont Mesa campus. Finish your bootcamp, walk down the hall, and sit your certification exam — no second trip, no separate test site to track down.

An Official Pearson VUE Authorized Test Center

Every exam runs to Pearson VUE's own testing standards — the same standards you'd get at any authorized center, on a campus you already know.

We verify your ID, capture a digital photo and signature, and walk you through the testing rules before you go in.

Step 3

Secure Your Belongings

Phones, smartwatches, wallets, and bags go in a locked storage locker before you enter the testing room.

Step 4

Test at a Monitored Workstation

You're seated at an individual station and monitored live by a certified proctor for the full length of your exam.

Step 5

Most certification exams, including every CompTIA exam, show an unofficial pass/fail result on screen the moment you finish.

Testing Center FAQ

The questions we get most about testing here, answered straight.

What ID do I need to bring?

Two forms of valid, government-issued ID — at least one with a photo — that exactly match the name on your exam registration. A military ID satisfies the primary photo ID requirement.

What can't I bring into the testing room?

Phones, smartwatches, wallets, bags, personal notes, and outside food or drink all stay in your locker. If your exam allows scratch material, we provide it.

Can I test the same day I finish my course?

Yes — same-campus, same-week testing is the whole point of this center. Talk to your instructor about scheduling your exam around your last day of class.

Do you offer testing accommodations?

Yes. We have a dedicated accommodation testing room for candidates with Pearson VUE-approved accommodations. Let us know in advance so we can have it ready.

When do I get my results?

Most exams, including every CompTIA certification, show an unofficial pass/fail result on screen the moment you finish.

Do I book my exam separately from my class?

Yes — your course seat and your Pearson VUE exam appointment are booked separately. We'll walk you through scheduling once you're enrolled.
