Course Overview
CompTIA SecurityX is the rebranded successor to CASP+ and sits at the top of CompTIA's security pathway. It is aimed at practitioners who remain hands-on rather than moving into pure management, and it assumes substantial prior experience.
The course covers governance, risk and compliance at enterprise scale, security architecture across hybrid and cloud environments, security engineering, and the integration of cryptographic and emerging technologies into existing estates.
SecurityX satisfies several of the highest DoD 8140 baseline categories, including IAT Level III and IASAE, which makes it a frequent requirement for architect-level positions on defence contracts.
