Course Overview

CompTIA Linux+ validates the practical skills required to administer Linux systems in production. Linux underpins the majority of web infrastructure, cloud workloads, and security tooling, which makes it a prerequisite skill for a large share of engineering and security roles.

The course covers shell fundamentals and file management, user and group administration, storage and filesystem management, networking configuration, package management, service and process control, scripting and automation, and system security and troubleshooting.

Linux+ is vendor-neutral and covers the major distribution families rather than a single flavour.

Who This Course Is For

  • Linux and systems administrators
  • Junior DevOps engineers
  • Network administrators supporting Linux hosts
  • Cybersecurity analysts using Linux tooling
  • Technical support specialists in mixed environments
