Course Overview
CompTIA Network+ sits one step above A+ and is the credential most employers look for when hiring network technicians, junior administrators, and NOC staff. It is vendor-neutral, so the skills transfer across Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, and cloud-hosted environments rather than locking you into one manufacturer.
The course covers network topologies and the OSI model, IP addressing and subnetting, routing and switching fundamentals, wireless standards, network services, cloud and virtualization concepts, hardening and physical security, and a structured methodology for diagnosing faults under pressure.
Network+ is an approved DoD 8140/8570 baseline certification and is frequently a prerequisite for security roles, since you cannot defend infrastructure you do not understand.
Who This Course Is For
- Network administrators
- Network field technicians
