DoD Training Center San Diego runs instructor-led Miramar CompTIA training out of a classroom at 9089 Clairemont Mesa Blvd — roughly seven miles and about 12 minutes south of the Miramar main gate down I-15. Miramar, Mira Mesa and Scripps Ranch

MCAS Miramar occupies zip code 92145 and takes up a substantial share of the mesa between I-15 and I-805, with Mira Mesa (92126) directly west of the flight line and Scripps Ranch (92131) climbing the hills to the north and east. What to Expect From a Class Week

Monday starts with a diagnostic so the instructor knows what the room already owns. Tuesday through Thursday alternate lecture, hands-on lab and question drills against the exam objectives. Friday is review, a practice exam, and a direct call on whether you should sit that day or take another week with the courseware.

Class hours are 08:00 to 16:00, Monday through Friday. Parking is on site. Bring a common access card if you want to talk through what your specific work role requires — the instructor can usually point you at the right certification in about five minutes.
