Our classroom is also a straightforward option for the Harbor Drive civilian workforce — the yards run on schedules that make evening classes across six weeks unworkable, and a single week off the deck plate is easier to approve than twelve scattered evenings.

Security+ and A+ for Sailors Between Underways

The most common waterfront problem is not motivation. It is calendar. A sailor knows the certification is required, has the funding path identified, and simply cannot find a training window that survives the ship’s schedule.

Our answer is repetition and honesty. The core courses — Security+ and A+ — run repeatedly rather than once a quarter, with dates published on the San Diego class calendar, so there is usually another week within reach if the first one falls through. And if a whole division needs the qualification, we can bring the class to the command instead.

Security+ is 37.5 hours over five days against the live SY0-701 objectives. A+ is 75 hours over two weeks because there are two exams and there is no honest way to compress both into five days.
